The World Trade Organisation has ruled against China in a key piracy case brought by the United States. The WTO found Beijing had been wrong to ignore the vast trade in CDs and DVDs that had not been passed by the state censorship system. Correspondents say the ruling brings the US closer to being able to claim billions of dollars in compensation. Doctors say that eight babies born to a woman in California are doing well so far. It's only the second recorded case in the United States of octuplets being born alive. The six boys and two girls were nine weeks premature. 18 doctors were involved in delivering them by Caesarean section at the hospital in Los Angeles. Doctor Karen Maples who led the team said the arrival of the last baby was unexpected. We've worked in preparation for delivery of seven babies. And after we got the seventh baby out, we felt inside the uterus, and felt the eighth baby. So that was a surprise for us. This is the exciting part of being an obstetrician that every delivery is very special, each one quite unique. I must say this is absolutely the most unique delivery I've ever participated in.
