The Chinese government says a powerful storm has killed at least 42 people in eastern China. The storm caused heavy rain. It had wind speeds of about 125 kilometers an hour on Friday. The rain caused landslides in the eastern part of Zhejiang province. Several people are missing. In one incident, nine people were buried alive when a landslide crashed their homes in the city of Guangzhou. In Taiwan, the storm killed at least two people and injured many others. The storm weakened as it moved across Mainland, China.
