There's a Hedgehog on my fence |
He treats me with indifference |
And I in turn ignore him |
Even though he's close to me |
I was told when I was small |
That China wasn't far at all |
But now I can't remember |
Why I've never been to see |
Long ago when I was smaller |
I remember growing taller |
If I could be kind and good |
The world would smile on me |
Tell me what you want to know |
Ask me and I'll try to show you |
Everywhere there is to go |
And everything to see |
There's a Sparrow on my roof |
Who manages to stay aloof |
And go about his daily business |
Much the same as me |
