qīng chén wǒ zhàn zài qīng qīng de mù chǎng |
At dawn I stand in the dark green meadow |
kàn dào shén yīng pī zhe nà xiá guāng |
And find coated with morning rays a sacred eagle |
xiàng yī piàn xiáng yún fēi guò lán tiān |
Like an auspicious cloud flying across the sky |
wèi cáng jiā ér nǚ dài lái jí xiáng |
To bring good fortune to the Tibetan people |
huáng hūn wǒ zhàn zài gāo gāo de shān gāng |
At dusk I stand high up on the hill |
pàn wàng tiě lù xiū dào wǒ jiā xiāng |
And expect to be built to my hometown a railroad |
yī tiáo tiáo jù lóng fān shān yuè lǐng |
Like dragons crossing the mountains one after another |
wèi xuě yù gāo yuán sòng lái ān kāng |
To bring welfare to the snowcapped plateau |
nà shi yī tiáo shén qí de tiān lù |
That' s a heavenly road of wonder |
bǎ rén jiān de wēn nuǎn sòng dào biān jiāng |
To carry the warm of the world to the border area |
cóng cǐ shān bù zài gāo lù bù zài màn cháng |
Making mountains no longer high and ways no longer long |
gè zú ér nǚ huān jù yī táng |
And bringing the peoples together through laughter |
huáng hūn wǒ zhàn zài gāo gāo de shān gāng |
At dusk I stand high up on the hill |
kàn nà tiě lù xiū dào wǒ jiā xiāng |
And enjoy being built to my hometown a railroad |
yī tiáo tiáo jù lóng fān shān yuè lǐng |
Like dragons crossing the mountains one after another |
wèi xuě yù gāo yuán sòng lái ān kāng |
To bring welfare to the snowcapped plateau |
nà shi yī tiáo shén qí de tiān lù |
That' s a heavenly road of wonder |
dài wǒ men zǒu jìn rén jiān tiān táng |
Leading us to the paradise on earth |
qīng kē jiǔ sū yóu chá huì gèng jiā xiāng tián |
With chang and butter tea to be more fragrant and sweeter |
xìng fú de gē shēng chuán biàn sì fāng |
And happy singing to spread to everywhere |
