That's because you're using the wrong approach. If you try to stop people on the street, it's unlikely you will get true responses. People are often too busy with their work or studies to answer your questions. What you should do is advertise for people to take part in your survey. The college notice board is an excellent place to do this. Then you will get people who genuinely have something they'd like to say. Could I interview my classmates? It would be much easier to get them talk. Classmates are a very good source of information to begin with. But it's better to talk to as many different people as you can. However, if you have trouble talking to other people, why not? You could still come up with some interesting results. Is there another way I could conduct research? Besides interviews and questionnaires, I mean. Sometimes, it is stressful to talk to people. |
