It's July 3rd week, I'm packed up and headed East |
To that sand |
We go the same time every year, it's a tradition here |
Living while we can |
Bare feet and that southern heat |
A golden beach and sweet ice tea |
On the east coast, oh I love that salty air |
And how the sun glows |
Livin' life without a care |
Yeah I feel at home, where the waves roll, on the east coast |
At sunset, the boardwalk, we shop and the boys show off |
Hoping for a chance |
We stay up all night long, and welcome the break of dawn |
On those lifeguard stands |
The sunrise in that bright, red sky |
I don't ever wanna say goodbye |
So I don't waste time going anywhere else, anywhere else |
